Vetting Ingredients
We rigorously vet every product to ensure it’s free from serious, scientifically substantiated health concerns. While placing a high importance on organic and non-GMO certifications. We adhere to a simple rule: “Are all ingredients derived from nature without harmful alterations?” Our Philosophy is that food should come from natural sources and undergo minimal processing. This is why we ban over 150 ingredients from all the food we sell.
Greenwashing
We also scrutinize marketing claims to avoid “greenwashing”. Greenwashing misleads consumers by using colors, images, and claims to make products appear more environmentally friendly than they are. We combat this by verifying claims against our standards, encouraging third-party certifications of best practices, and obtaining detailed information from producers and manufacturers about the products and their ingredients.
